The Competence Development Institute is now looking for a teacher in psychiatry/forensic psychiatry
Together with the rest of the team, you will drive and develop the training programs forward. This work includes planning and designing courses, teaching, and supervising students. The work will also involve training in forensic psychiatry on-site in Sala. Work within higher vocational education and corporate training may also be relevant.
Who are we looking for?
To thrive in this role, you need to have a humble approach and a positive view of people, and you should find joy in helping our students develop and establish themselves in the industry. Good pedagogical skills along with an interest in people and the industry are a must. We are now looking for an engaged and structured team player with the ability to communicate clearly.
Work experience/background
- It is desirable that you have a teaching degree with relevant specialization
- Licensed nurse with professional experience in psychiatry/forensic psychiatry
- You have very good IT skills and can quickly familiarize yourself with different systems
- You have excellent knowledge of digital tools and the most common Office programs
- Experience in course development
- Experience in validation

It is advantageous if you appreciate a varied and stimulating job and have a strong creative side. You have a sense of order and can collaborate with others while also working independently and making priorities. You have a good demeanor and a strong sense of service. You are quick and efficient, solution-focused, and results-oriented.

Location: Västerås, Uppsala, or Stockholm (1 position in total)
Scope: Part-time or full-time
Employment form: The position is a permanent employment with a 6-month probationary period.
